HAPPY SUMMER FINALLY,
THE CALENDAY IS READY; THINK SMALL KNITTING PROJECTS TO GET YOU THROUGH THE SUMMER. REMEMBER MY ADAGE: KNITTING IS NOT JUST A WINTER SPORT!
Not planning to travel very far this summer, pick up a small a cotton knitting bag to use for knitting on the shorter trips. Great small projects for the new yarns as always, SOCKS. There will be another workshop on cuff down socks on double pointed needles on a size 4 needle-makes the project go a little faster, get started now for the holidays.
How about a square of the week from The Great American Afghan Book, either put it together for an afghan or pillows. Small take along project.
The Wednesday evening group will be knitting a hat in the round; if you have always wanted to do this, sign up, or in this mixed group of beginners and beyond, bring your own project.
